Copyright is a big thing in this day and age. We have so much just a click a way that we all are probably criminals without knowing.
- What is a Copyright?
- Copyright is a laws that preserve the creative work that a person has done, so they can make a profit from it if they want to.
- The Copyright law is found in the Constitution of United States of America.
- As of April 1, 1989, everything became copyrighted even if it does not have a © mark or the word copyright on it.
- What does the Copyright do?
- Reproduce the work
- Prepare a derivative work
- Distribute the work
- Perform the work publicly
- Display the work publicly
- So What is Fair Use?
- Purpose and character of the use (nonprofit educational use vs. commercial purposes)
- Nature of the copyrighted work
- Amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the work as a whole
- Effect of the use upon potential market for value of the work.
- Fair use is so the education system can use things, so the children can learn without getting in trouble with the law.
Here is what I have done keep the copyright law:
The pictures use have been use with permission from the source they come from. For the header I have use ten pictures and put them all into one big picture. I give the right for just the picture to be use. If there is that violates the copyright law please tell the Web-Master, so I can do what is necessary to fix it immediately. Thank You.
